My Thoughts on this Recipe
These Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies from Baker By Nature are absolutely delicious. The only problem with them is that they are absolutely delicious. Haha. No really, these are some reallllllly gooood cookies! If you like chewy peanut butter cookies, these will be your jam!

The main ingredients are what you expect: butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, flour, oats and chocolate chips. View the full recipe here.
Recommendations
These are pretty straight forward. I tried them with a large cookie scoop (think ice cream size), and that is the cookie that’s pictured. I also tried them with my smaller scoop (that I usually use for most cookies), and they puffed up more with the smaller scoop. I think in the future, I would use that.
I appreciate that she says to leave the cookies on the sheet after baking to set. I found five minutes to be the right amount for me, but I would definitely continue to let them partially cool on the sheet.
This is a perfect recipe for freezing. When you don’t want to have three dozen cookies on hand, simply bake what you want, and then place scoops of dough on a cookie sheet and freeze. Once frozen, place all the scoops in a freezer bag and label it with the cooking directions and date. I found the small scoops to take about 14 minutes in the oven from the freezer.
Future Ideas/Variations
I suppose you could use raisins instead of chocolate chips, but I don’t know why you would want to! Haha.
Final thoughts
These are amazing, and I can’t wait to make them again!
