My Thoughts on this Recipe
This Bruschetta Cheese Ball recipe from Carlsbad Cravings is all things tomato/basil bruschetta with the creaminess of multiple cheeses. It is quick and easy to make, and it makes an absolute ton (it says 16 servings, but I bet it’s more like 40). I particularly loved the Boursin, the sun-dried tomatoes and the panko topping.
Ingredients
The main ingredients are Boursin, Cream Cheese, Mozzarella, Parmesan, fresh and sun-dried tomatoes, basil, and seasoning. View the full recipe here.
Recommendations
I made this for Easter, and there were about 16 people there. This recipe made two softball-size cheese balls, and they ate about 1/3 of one, so it makes a lot! I don’t think it will keep a very long time because of the fresh tomatoes and basil, so make this when you are feeding a big crowd!
It’s quite simple and straight-forward to put together, so I don’t have any specific tips on this recipe.
Future Ideas/Variations
I don’t think I would change anything about this recipe other than maybe trying to reduce the size.
Final thoughts
This is a tasty cheese ball that would be great on a cheeseboard. Give it a try next time you are hosting a crowd!
