My Thoughts on this Recipe

These Brazilian Steak Kabobs from Carlsbad Cravings are loaded with flavor from the marinade! They have quite a bit of spice, and the steak turned out so tender! We will be making these again as soon as possible!

Ingredients

The main ingredients are: tri tip roast, potatoes, red and green bell pepper, onion, McCormick Grill Mates Brazilian Steakhouse Marinade, olive oil, low sodium soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and lime juice. View the full recipe here.

Recommendations

The marinade in this recipe is very simple to put together. I used only 0.75 lbs. of beef because there were only two of us. I wasn’t sure that there would be enough marinade for everything with the 1.5 lbs. of beef it called for, so you might want to make extra marinade, as there is not a lot of liquid. I did use the same amount of vegetables as the recipe called for.

I used mini-potatoes, and they worked out perfectly. I thought it was genius to use potatoes at all and to microwave them first!

We cooked the kabobs as written (grilled), and they took about as long as written. The flavor is just fantastic! There is a little bit of heat, so you might be aware of that, particularly if you have kids.

Future Ideas/Variations

This recipe is extremely flexible in that you can change the protein and the vegetables to whatever you like. I would be cognizant of cooking time though, you may want to do the same vegetable on all one kabob if it has a shorter cooking time than the protein. The sky is the limit in terms of the number of combinations you can create!

Final thoughts

These kabobs are perfect for the next time you want to grill something delicious!
