My Thoughts on this Recipe

These Honey Garlic Asian Chicken Kabobs from Damn Delicious are amazing. They are tender and have the most delicious sweet and tangy flavor because the sauce and marinade are out of this world. These are great for your next barbecue or even a regular old weeknight!

Ingredients

The main ingredients are: chicken thighs, oyster sauce, ketchup, honey, chili garlic sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic, ginger and oil. View the full recipe here.

Recommendations

This recipe is simple and straightforward. I marinated my chicken thighs for about six hours, and I would do it for at least the same amount of time the next time I make them.

I only used one pound of chicken thighs because there are only two of us, so I wondered if there would be enough marinade for two pounds. I think I might increase the marinade if I were making more chicken.

The chicken took about 12 minutes on the grill total, and it was so tender and delicious and flavorful. I didn’t use the sesame seeds because I’m not a fan.

Future Ideas/Variations

You could try using different types of protein and/or adding cooked vegetables to the sauce, but I really liked it as-is.

Final thoughts

These Honey Garlic Asian Chicken Kabobs are absolutely delicious and simple to prepare. Make them the next time you barbecue!
