Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups potatoes peeled and diced
  • 4 cups shredded cabbage or Cole Slaw Mix
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 2 teaspoons fennel seed
  • 14 oz polish sausage, halved lengthwise and sliced
  • 4 cups chicken broth, low sodium
  • 12 oz beer
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Combine everything in the slow cooker, and cook on low for 10-12 hours or on high for 5-6 hours. You may need to add more broth or water to have the soup consistency you like. Garnish with the green onions.
