Ingredients

  • 4 pieces salmon, about 6 oz. each
  • olive oil for drizzling
  • 3 tablespoons butter softened
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • pinch red pepper flakes or more, to taste
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 450.
  2. Dry the salmon and drizzle both sides with a little olive oil. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Use a nonstick pan, and get it hot over medium heat. Once it is hot, place the salmon, skin side up, and leave it undisturbed for 3-4 minutes, or until it is golden brown. Flip the salmon over carefully and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Transfer the salmon to a baking sheet covered in foil and sprayed with cooking spray.
  5. Bake the salmon for 6-8 minutes or until done to your liking.
Honey Butter
  1. Mix together the honey, butter and red pepper flakes. Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and brush the butter on each piece of salmon. You might have extra butter.
