About this Recipe
This is my favorite spiced cider. My mom has been making it for years, and it has so much flavor from the apple cider, citrus juices and spices. This is sure to warm you up on a cold day, and it’s great for entertaining.
Ingredients
The main ingredients are apple cider, lemon juice, orange juice, sugar, cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, ground nutmeg and brandy (optional).
Recommendations
There is nothing complicated about this recipe. You can find cheesecloth at your regular grocery store over by the cooking utensil section, and I use Paul Masson Brandy (the regular one). I do like this with the Brandy, but you can certainly leave it out.
If you are sensitive to sweetness, you might want to reduce the sugar in the recipe, particularly if your cider is very sweet.
Final thoughts
We absolutely love this spiced cider, and I think you will too!
